I’m trying my best to meet and engage with people

Eversince I moved back to India, I’m trying my best to meet and engage with people who can guide, mentor or share some wisdom with me.
In one such attempt, I had the opportunity to meet with Neville Noronha over coffee. While learning about his story was mind-boggling, at the end of our chat, he also shared this shareholder letter with me, that I’ve read a couple times already.
I see his point about the boring stuff now. It’s like in cricket – no boundaries but just the mundane rotation of the strike. No fancy shots, nothing wow. It’s all meh for a while but you suddenly realize you’ve built a match-winning partnership. So difficult in our generation where instant gratification and excitement is at the forefront.
As a side note, us new entrepreneurs should spend way more time seeking coffee chats with real-world leaders than we spend listening to dramatic podcasts with no pragmatic learnings.
P.S. Read the letter if you haven’t, and share your thoughts here 🙂
