We are responsible for the global chaos.

Have a problem with UPites in Mumbai? Trump hates the Mexicans too.
You voted based on your religious beliefs? Israel shook the world for the very same reason.
Ever banned a Chinese product because you thought it was patriotic? Face the American wrath with tariffs now.
Disconnected from friends and family thanks to your phone? Congratulations, you are the AI bubble, because you are the product.
Ignored the on ground development to focus on the Pakistan distraction? Well, you are no different than the patriotic idiot sitting in Iran obsessing over Israel.
Invested in an Adani stock despite what you know in your heart? Don’t blame global markets for being ridiculous and uncertain.
Each action of ours has contributed to the world we live in. What is the world without the individual contributions of our beliefs and decisions? I am not at all surprised or angry with the chaos and anxiety that faces us today. It is a reflection of who we are as a people. It’s not a few leaders. It’s us. We voted for this and secretly/openly supported and encouraged them when their actions suited us. But now they don’t. And we want to blame it on someone, but there’s no one but that guy in the mirror.
I never pray, but I always ask that if there’s a higher power, they give us all wisdom. But in times like these, even the optimist in me feels the pessimism hit hard.
